I got fired.

I got fired, and my boss gave me his cold on the same day. Awesome. I’m not that sad because I hated my job and I was planning to quit, but being fired is never a good feeling. Manthing starts work on March 1, so we’re tight until the 14th, but after that we’ll be fine.

I have not been eating well but it’s hard to give a fuck.

Any motivational words, lovelies?

today is a new day

I know I keep saying this but today is a new day. That’s always going to be true.

I was really good all yesterday…until I got to the wine party. I had 2 glasses of white wine (not actually bad) some mini egg things (not bad, eggs and veggies!) some brie (eh, not anti keto) but it was covered in sugary jams (bad) 3 pieces of bread, and a slice a pizza (BAD 40DOWN, BAD.)

but today is a new day and for breakfast I had almonds and a rockstar2x and 1 dried apricot. So I’m estimating breakfast was

15 (rockstar) + 312 (almonds) + 16 (1 stinkin apricot piece :( ) = 343 calories for breakfast

1 + 4 + 4 = 9 carbs so far for today

not too bad overall.

boyfriend was snappy this morning but he’s sick so I’ll forgive him. it seems like everyone is kinda snappy today actually….stupid rain!

also, going to the gym tonight. I’m excited :) gonna work stupid hard…but I kinda do usually. I love working out, it’s the love of eating that’s keeping me fluffy.

The workout:

Run 5k as fast as I can (I’m ridiculously slow right now, last time ran 6.2mph at a 1.0 incline, gonna go at 6.3 this time, work up each time) and keep going after that for as long as I can (generally not far because I’m still a flabmonster)

Bike 25 minutes at level 12-13 (biked for 20 minutes at 12, 5 minutes at 13 last time…gonna try to go for as long as possible at 13 tonight) doing 85+ rpm the whole time.

weights:

assisted dips (last time did 10 with 80lbs assistance, 10 with 75lbs assistance, 10 with 70lbs assistance, gonna try to beat that)

cable rows at 42.5 lbs or higher x 10, 10, 10

seated dumbbell shoulder press - I’m stopping myself at 25lbs on this exercise so I don’t morph into a man, x 10, 10, 10

deadlifts - 35lbs on each side + the bar is 115, which is how much I want to weigh. It’s a nice reminder but I kinda wanna see if I can lift  more.

seated calf raises - 40lbs x 10, 10, 10

hammer curls - might have to go easy on these tonight, my wrist is angry about something :/

seated dumbbell tricep press

back extensions - 40lbs x 15, 15, 10

hanging/captains chair leg lifts - 20 reps per set until exhaustion

nom lunch

had a big lunch so I won’t snack before going to the gym tonight:

ground beef (90%) with chinese cabbage and onions with a tiny dollop of sour cream

about 4 tons half a circle of Presidente brie (boyfriend ate the other half), but no bread this time

one more hershey’s special dark kiss

2 strawberries

190 (beef) + 10 (veggies) + 20 (sour cream) + 400 (brie) + 20 (strawberries) + 20 (hersheys kiss) = 660 calories

0 + 1 + 1 + 0 + 6 + 2 = 10 carbs
